CENTERING LIJNEN
De centreringslijnen zijn zorgvuldig met een laser gebrand op de bodemplaat van de lino pers. We kwamen op het idee omdat we het hoogdrukken eenvoudiger wilden maken en nu kun je je matrix en papier precies in het midden plaatsen.
De lijnen omvatten het middenkruis en de gebruikte papiersoorten. Voor deze drukpers in A3-formaat zijn de lijnen in A6-, A5-, A4- en A3-formaat aanwezig.
TWEE HEFBOMEN VOOR ELK PERSFORMAAT
Eén hefboom was voor ons niet genoeg. We wilden het hoogdrukken comfortabel maken voor elk formaat van onze lino persen. De twee hefbomen worden gebruikt zodat je met beide handen kunt leunen en meer druk kunt uitoefenen. Het voordeel is dat zelfs kleinere personen op deze manier echt grote druk kunnen uitoefenen.
A3 FORMAAT
De grootste lino pers uit ons assortiment is geschikt voor hoogdruk in A3-formaat. Kan ook comfortabel worden gebruikt voor kleinere drukformaten. Deze drukpers in A3-formaat is ook populair voor textieldruk (t-shirt, tas, vlag, etc.), blokdruk, houtsnede, boekdruk, planten persen, bloemenlino print, enz.
Onze lino persen zijn geschikt voor zowel professionals als beginners, het werken ermee is echt eenvoudig.
VOLLEDIG RAND AFGEDRUKT
Voor elk van de lino persen zijn de houten persplaten aan de zijkanten met 1 cm vergroot dan het gegeven formaat. Hierdoor is het papierinvoer gemakkelijk en is het mogelijk om tot de volledige rand van het papier te printen.
De houten persplaten zijn 440 x 320 mm groot.
STABIELE DRUK
De totale dikte van de persplaten is 48 mm en garandeert daarmee stabiele druk over het gehele drukoppervlak.
De platen zijn geschilderd in cederkleur die prachtig past bij de kleur van de linosnede pers.
VERSTELBARE KANTELING
De bovenplaat heeft een verstelbare kanteling zodat deze tijdens het hoogdrukken gelijkmatig op je matrix en papier rust.
Om de kanteling aan te passen, hoef je alleen de aanspanmiddelen aan de zijkant los te draaien, na het aanpassen van de kanteling, draai je ze weer vast.
EXTREEM DUURZAAM
Het stalen frame is poedergecoat wat extreem duurzaam is en gemakkelijk schoon te maken.
De constructie van de lino pers is gemaakt van 5 mm dikke stalen platte staven die echt heel sterk zijn. Elk van onze A3 linosnede persen is getest met een belasting van 100 kg en er is geen enkele buiging opgetreden.
ANTI-SLIP
De rubberen strips aan de onderkant van de pers zijn anti-slip en beschermen je werkoppervlakken tegen krassen. Deze linosnede pers kan ook stevig worden vastgeschroefd aan het werkoppervlak dankzij de voorgeboorde gaten in de basis van de lino pers.

What is the best ink to use for the double lever linocut press?
We highly recommend oil-based inks for use with our linocut printing press. These inks have a thicker consistency, higher opacity, and richer pigment content compared to water-based inks. Water-based inks tend to dry faster, and this can cause the ink to dry on the matrix before it’s printed, which might result in issues. For optimal results, oil-based inks are the best choice for block printing press projects.
What is the maximum thickness of the matrix I can print on the lino press?
Our hand printing press is designed to handle materials up to 3 cm thick. This makes it ideal for printing woodcuts, engravings, letters, and various other matrices, providing flexibility for a wide range of projects.
What is the correct order - lino, paper, felt?
In our experience, the most effective order for printing with our relief press is: start with the matrix, followed by placing the paper on top of the matrix, and then the felt over the paper. This ensures that the top plate presses evenly onto the matrix, resulting in a clean and sharp print.
What is the recommended amount of ink for the lino printing press?
For best results, we recommend performing test prints to determine the ideal amount of ink for your lino print press. When using oil-based inks, you can dilute them with turpentine oil for optimal consistency. Hand printing presses typically require more ink than other types of presses, like cylinder presses, so be prepared to use a generous amount of ink for clear, crisp prints.
Can I print small matrices on a larger press?
Absolutely! Our relief press is designed to accommodate both small and large matrices. For smaller matrices, we recommend positioning them in the center of the press. You can even print multiple smaller matrices at once, as long as they are of the same thickness. This allows you to maximize your time and resources when working with different projects on your block printing press.
What can be used to clean the lino press of ink?
To clean the lino press after printing, we suggest using rubbing alcohol or turpentine oil, especially if you’re using oil-based inks. For water-based inks, water or soapy water will suffice to clean the press. Proper cleaning will ensure that your lino printing press stays in great condition and is ready for your next project.
Is the press suitable for dry needle / gravure printing?
Although our relief press can handle smaller formats of dry needle or gravure printing, we recommend it primarily for linocut printing, monotype printing, and similar techniques. With gravure printing, especially on larger formats, the results might not always be as tight as with a press specifically designed for that purpose.
