This ensures the roller glides smoothly when printing, while the carved oak handle provides a natural grip in any hand. At the same time, the NBR rubber has a shore 30A hardness, as well as powder coating for easy cleaning.
Features
INK ROLLER WITH QUALITY NBR RUBBER
Our small lino roller features NBR rubber, which is popular among artists for its flexibility, smooth surface, and long lifespan. The material is both durable and highly resistant to oils and chemicals, as well as tearing or cracking. At the same time, it can withstand hundreds to thousands of hours of ink printing. Just look at Flexo machines for example.
For at home relief printmaking, this linocut roller makes a welcome addition to any studio workspace. This is in part because of how easy it is to clean. The rubber surface fairs great against any ink, and cleans quickly. More importantly though, it binds colors perfectly, promising smooth ink transfer for any printing.
CORE ON BEARINGS
Ball bearings of the highest quality feature on each roller in the metal frame that attaches to the solid core. These bearings glide the ink roller over any printing surface with ease. They also make it easy to maintain the lino roller in the same position relative to the sides when printing.
SHAPED OAK HANDLE
The shape of each small lino roller provides delicate precision with a natural grip at just the right angle. All the while, the solid oak of the handle is sturdy and attractive. The color wonderfully matches the material and stain of our linocut presses as well. This way, your printmaking collection and hand print tools look lovely side-by-side – in any home, studio, or artist space.
RUBBERIZED EDGE ON THE TOP SIDE
Clean-up has never been this easy, or unnecessary. The non-slip rubber edge on the topside of the lino roller means you simply flip upside-down when applying ink. Your hands will never get messy again, nor will your workspace areas for that matter! The rubber ensures the lino roller never slips on surfaces, while the handle is at a comfortable angle for lifting.
