Features
INK ROLLER WITH QUALITY NBR RUBBER
It is NBR rubber that has the best properties in the printing and art world. It's durability is already well known from large flexo machines where it can withstand thousands of hours of print run time.
For artists it is great for its flexibility, smooth surface and long life.
NBR is known for its excellent resistance to oils and many chemicals. Therefore, it is impossible to damage it with ink or cleaning. However, the rubber binds the colours perfectly and the transfer will be excellent.
The rubber has good resistance to tearing and cracking.
CORE ON BEARINGS
A solid shaft runs through the core of the ink roller and rests on bearings on the sides. These provide a nice smooth running roller ink and at the same time keep the roller ink in the same position relative to the sides.
SHAPED OAK HANDLE
We shaped and shaped the handles until they fit the way we imagined. They are made of solid oak wood. The material and stain used is the same as for the press. So if you are ordering to go with the press, they will complement each other wonderfully.
RUBBERIZED EDGE ON THE TOP SIDE
The edge is used to turn the ink roller upside down if ink is currently being applied. That way your surface and hands don't get dirty and you can get on with the printing!
We used rubber on this edge to prevent the roller ink from slipping on the work surface. The wooden handle is angled to make lifting the roller easy.
